LOHAGAD - One of the easiest fort to trek in Maharashtra situated in Malavli near Lonavala around 160 kms from Mumbai by road (Hours may varry depending on traffic) and 2.30hrs from Mumbai by train. Any non-regular trekker can reach without any trouble. Visibility of surroundings during monsoon is less due to fog, it is best to visit during winters. Vinchu Kada (The Scorpion Tail) is the most scenic spot on the fort.
